Your granddaughter is adorable, I can tell she loves her quilt. My grandmother lived far from me but we had a special relationship. The times we were together made wonderful memories. In those days, long distance phone calls were rare, but she would call often and we would catch up and have plenty to giggle about. I still have her letters and cards. My point is being apart isn't ideal but you can still be close at heart, and your beautiful quilt will be a comfort to her.
