Hello there....from the lower mainland.... your quilt is lovely! I do quite abit of machine satin stitching appliqué but I also love hand appliqué. Welcome to many hours of fun! (to me...the machine appliqué reminds me of the hours I used to spend colouring...and now I am doing it in fabric, enjoy! )

What an interesting task,. for sure, and you did a marvelous job appliqueing all those birds.

a lot different than what I've seen. I love the images, like birds, looks like it was a lot of twisting in making it.
