fun fabrics ! The faster baby (crib) size quilts are 6 inch squares. sometimes with strips between. I have been using hexigons.. take for ever ( ! !!! ) But beautiful.

So, your choices are many, check out a few books to get ideas.. Here you will get ideas through browsing.

You could put together a raggedy quilt (or rag quilt) pretty fast.
