WooHoo - Go Lesley!!! It's beautiful! Really like it!

Wow! Lesley, it looks "scrummy". (Love to increase my vocabulary! ) Anyway, I am in awe.

Wonderful border - it just sets your blocks off beautifully.

This looks like an amazing project!

Thank you ladies, I just noticed that there are a few stray threads in there (why don't we see them until AFTER we post them?)

I promise to tidy it up before it gets quilted, I just wanted to take a couple of pics before I had to go out.

Lesley....I just sat and stared at it! Its sooo lovely! The corners remind me of the heart shape...so carrying through the theme of the quilt. That little touch of embroidery on the border really makes it...I wouldn't have thought to do that...hope you thanked your Dad for your smarts (since you told me that was how you got so smart! LOL!)

That turquoise really pops doesn't it? I really like it!

That was how DAD said I got my crafty genes - I don't know that I necessarily agreed with him, LOL. I think its more a question of not being so academic, but better with my hands allied with abiding interest in crafts in general, and a few specific ones. DB got the academic genes.

By the way, if anyone wants to do something similar for their borders, please feel free.

I'm thinking that I will be doing something different for my borders, but haven't made the final decision quite yet. Several idea floating around in that big empty space I wear on top of my shoulders though.
