Alaska Sunshine and I are trading labor.....she is going to be making 8-9 ( one of those could be baby booties..praying) pairs of mittens for me..and I will be long arm quilting for her.

Along with her first quilt she sent me my pair of mittens...for Valentines day..there is a heart button to represent each child ..and she sent an extra in case my DH and are are blessed...ISn't that sweet?

She personalized them especially for me....

Thanks so much everyone. As the snow is softly falling and John Denver's Aspen Glow is gently playing in the background I am amazed at how God works through Charismah. I was in my kitchen making breakfast and I heard the "you've got mail" bing I thought to myself, I never have the volumn up on the lap top...hmmm who is this from?...Charismah??? OH my GOODNESS She wants to trade!!! A bazillion times yes yes yes!!! I told her that I was in my kitchen just talking to God and saying Lord I would love it if she would want to trade" Then the bing happened...RIGHT then. Not the next day but right then!!! We spoke and I asked many questions so I could be as accurate as possible. My true love is custom mittens. I love making them. (Often I awake in the early morning hours with mitten visions so I tip toe to my mitten/quilt room and draw out what I see!) I really wanted to include all of her children because she always shares them with all of us. Hence the little hearts in the top of one of her mitts.
Charismah is such a lovely and warm young lady and I am trusting my quilt top to her creative hands knowing that she loves what she does and that makes me thrilled.

If anyone wants something specific in mittens I hope to fill that need just drop me a PM.

Thanks so much!!!Since the fabric was not warm enough for my liking I lined Charismah's mittens with lightweight wool and then I finished them off. They are very cozy and she wanted "girly" and specified she loves Pink!
