I began with 1 charm square pack tomake my niece a runner for her birthday. I loved the fabric (Nancy Haverson's Garden Song) so much I went back for 2 more charm packs, a 1/2 yd piece for borders and a few fat quarters. I ended up with 3 tablerunners, 2 12" quilts, and 3 candle mats. By the time I got to the candlemats, I was piecing the charms for the border, but I used up almost every scrap.

That is the way to get the absolute most value out of pre-cuts! My goodness. Each one is so lovely.

Nice work on all three. I fell in love with the Garden Song line too. And guess what? I have three charm packs. Just need to get some yardage for borders and such. I'm bookmarking this thread!
