This is so pretty it doesn't even need flowers. It's very soothing...is it pink and grays? Sometimes, the colors look so different on the monitor. Will look forward to the next pictures. :thumbup:

I traced them all on to wonder under and cut them out myself. There are six different shapes in about 4 sizes.

It's purples with a gray undertone and a couple of different grays.

I too love it as it is but I am sure it will be spectacular when you add the flowers. It looks 3D, like the leaves have just blown there. Looking really, really good!

I have the flowers cut out and pinned to the quilt. The smaller ones don't have their centers yet.

Ummm, kinda round. LOL, I don't think they're specific flowers. They're not the flower in the pattern I started out with either. They were too pointy and since I changed the leaves the flowers needed to be more round to balance the leaves.

I started with a pattern and by the time I'm done the only thing that will be from the pattern is the Cardinal.

The original pattern name was Deep Midwinter but when I started putting on all those ivy leaves it sang "California Dreaming" to me. So the name of my quilt is going to be "Such a Winter's Day." 9 flowers and flower centers and 10 snowflakes to go!!!
