All from my scrap box.

This quilt is made entirely from my scrap box....and I still can't get the lid on it. The pattern is from the April 2019 issue of the American Patchwork and quilting magazine. It is not a difficult pattern but it takes lots of time to make. I could not strip piece it due to using scraps so I did the math and cut the 2972 pieces I needed to make it. I even used those left over pieces of binding on the outside edge. I used everything and anything in the blocks and somehow, it all went together. I debated on adding the teal blocks but I am glad I did. They gave that little bit of spark tot he quilt.

Mary that is gorgeous! I bookmarked that pattern for some day! Love yours!
Ooh, I do like that. What size do you cut the pieces?
Great Scrappy! Love the border effect. I think scrap fabrics are like dust bunnies, they multiply when we are sleeping.
Oh my goodness! Beautiful and you are right, the teal ( sparkles) are perfect. One of the best scrap quilts I’ve seen.
Another gorgeous scrappy creation.
Wow, this is beautiful.
Very nice...thanks for sharing.
Gee, this came out off the charts beautiful. You really made a wonderful quilt here.

Your quilt is lovely. I really like your colors. I made the same quilt in fall colors. I agree, it's not difficult but it was a lot of stitching and cutting but it did use up some scraps.

Love the original post. I wouldn't have considered the pattern at first but maybe I will now. Love both of the different color ways.
Beautiful quilts ladies! Love the colours in each of them.
Both quilts are beautiful. I try not to let my scraps build up enough to make a quilt like those.

Ladies, I think they are both gorgeous! I know I've only been quilting a short time, but how can one have this many pretty fabric scraps to make a quilt these sizes! I am flabbergasted!:D

Sometimes I forget how beautiful Scrappy can be!
Wow! Gorgeous. The saturated jewel tones are so rich. I can’t fathom cutting almost 3000 pieces, though! 1.5x2.5 is small!!
Gorgeous!!!
Beautiful quilts. Love the deep vibrant colors and also the Fall colorway. I have an enormous bag full of 1 1/2" strips. Tired of making small 9 patches and log cabins. Thank you for the inspiration.
