Love the colors, and don't worry about the boo boos, nobody sees them but you. What they see is the beautiful quilt made with love.

Izaquilter 02-23-2011 07:50 PM

great job we quilters are our worst critics. I once hear "if you can't see the mistake from a galloping horse, it's not worth fretting over" so don't worry I just galloped by & didn't see any mistakes!

biscuitqueen 02-23-2011 08:03 PM

that is really cool, I can't see the problem either.

meant2be 02-23-2011 08:28 PM

Lv2sew2011 02-23-2011 08:38 PM

All of you are so nice and polite. I took the end off and made the square a tad bigger its off, but since its my first quilt and a learning experience I'm leaving it at that. I've been working hard on it for the past two days hand quilting, had to take a break cause my fingers are starting to hurt...LOL I can't wait to finish it up. My hubby says what are all the squidlys (not sure on the spelling on that word) LOL Any how told him thats the quilting, and he said OH! and made a funny face...LOL

Not to bad for my first, I have a lot of boo boo but I can live with them. And watch what I do on my next quilt...LOL

A rule my little group have is don't judge your quilt up close. When one of us finish a top the others hold it up across the room so the maker can view the quilt as it will be seen on a bed, the whole quilt. It can give you a whole new prospective. Even a photo enlarged on the computer works well.
You have done very well and it sounds as if you enjoyed doing it.
Happy quilting.

Rettie V. Grama 02-25-2011 07:23 AM

I don't see any Boo Boo's. I see Sunflowers, butterflys and lady bugs. Beautiful! If you think you have Boo Boo's don't worry, nobody is going to look at your work with a fine toothed comb.

BizzieLizzie 02-26-2011 03:15 AM

For a first timer, that is a stupendous looking quilt!! Awesome! Love the colour choices and what a beautiful pattern. We will always make mistakes, that is what handmade things are like and what makes things special, because its one of a kind! Well done!

Ethel Hoffman 03-28-2011 02:10 PM
