I was almost done with the top, until some seams didnt match up so I have to take some of it apart and try again...

    But this where I'm at...

Not to bad for my first, I have a lot of boo boo but I can live with them. And watch what I do on my next quilt...LOL

We are too critical of our own work. My family reminds me of that all the time.

Thanks everyone, I had to quit cause I was so mad when I got to the part to add the butterflies and it didnt match up with the end like the other side did. Not sure how to fix this but, I will tackle it tomorrow...

Oh my gosh that is cute!!!!!!!!!

I've been quilting for years and still make lots of errors. Why just yesterday I was quilting and the backing fabric flipped and I quilting through the edge, so hello seam ripper. And last week I read some directions wrong and a barn roof came out half size. So--see--you're not alone.

Love the colors, looks good to me, don't be so hard on yourself.

You will take. All the fun out of it..

I'm only critical of quilts I enter in shows, otherwise,, close is good enough..

Love the quilt-most of us find faults in all of our quilts-but that's how we learn, and the people who see our quilts, just see the beauty, not our perceived faults

Wow! That's you're first quilt?! You sure jumped into the deep end of the pool -lol. You are going to be very good at this. It's very pretty, different techniques, and the color choices are excellent IMO. Keep it up!
