Amazing scrappy string quilt

Just finished this one. I say 'amazing' because, it never fails.....no matter what scraps you put together, it always "turns out".....just sayn' Not my best quilting....just couldn't seem to get my "rhythm" going on this one. But, it's for me, (until I decide to give it away :) )...so I don't care. Love it anyway!! Also showed my "pieced" backing.

Really like this. are thes strips sewn together and the trimmed to a square and after that cut into triangles? Are all the strips the same width?

Well, it all looks GREAT to me, including your fabulous quilting! Do you just se strata together, cut squares, then quarter? I want to try it since you say that it works regardless of the fabrics used. I have TONS of 2 1/2 in strips that I "over cut" for other quilts and need to use them.

I save all my decent scraps for these type of quilts and am always amazed at how nicely they turn out....Yours I lovely and from the pictures, can't see a thing wrong with the quilting. Looks pretty find to me.....
