love your choice of colors, and that pattern is a winner too.

Sweet quilt  I can't wait to see it quilted it will win blue ribbons. Scrappy stars, it's already a winner with me

Beautiful piecing on your quilt. I am afraid to even try those pointy stars but you might be the inspiration I need. How did you get it so perfect? Great job.

I really have to give the credit to the rulers I used on this. They are Nifty Notions rulers and I used the Bias Triangle and the Half Rectangle ruler to create this quilt.

There are several nice things about them:

*You can cut everything out of the same size strip
*Much less fabric waist
*No squaring up of blocks
*Notches help you line up blocks perfectly without a lot of effort

I know there is a ruler out there for everything these days, but I think these rulers are WONDERFUL, and completely worth buying the set! :-P
