There were several ways in which I could have quilted this quilt and I thought about it for a few days....sometimes I have to let it speak to me and tell me what it feels like....This is the type of quilt that I could quilt over and over and probably quilt it different each time even if the same fabrics were used because thee is much versatility in the design that lends itself to lost of quilting styles.
However, I would say this is classic of my style that has developed wouldn't you? Charisma Curls in the background.....enough quilting in the chain and center stars to make the points of the star to pop out...finished off with a feather in the border. I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA. This quilt has warm and natural batting. Thanks for looking. back |

Each time I see a quilt you've quilted, I am even more amazed. You have a great talent in choosing the right quilting to enhance the piecing. Love your quilting!

Beautiful Charismah!

Have you read the book "Quilting makes the Quilt"? It takes the same quilt and quilts it 3 or 4 different ways and it's true....it looks different each time because the quilter was highlighting something different. It was a fun book to page through.
You did a wonderful job of quilting. I also will put a job in the back of my mind to percolate for awhile. I can't tell you the number of quilt problems I've solved on my long drive into work when the answer just appears in my mind. |
What a great quilt.
|
What a great scrap quilt and as always the quilting only enhances it.

OMG OMG OMG! See this is EXACTLY why I sent this to you to be quilted, it's also the reason I said....whatever you want to do. Because I KNEW it would be amazing!
You really turned this quilt into something special and I am SO happy I sent it to you and didn't do my boring edge 2 edge Q-bot standard. You my dear are INCREDIBLY talented and I'm SO happy with the results. YOU ROCK! I can't tell you how happy I am with how this turned out, and hope you realize how much this means to me. Being my first "fussy" quilt. I took a lot of time trying to get star point and little pieces and flying geese together the right way. You basically put the icing on the cake with your GORGEOUS quilting!! Ok, I could go on and on....but suffice to say I'm THRILLED! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! :) |
as always your work is amazing, thank you for sharing it...

Are you still available for quilting jobs? I would love to try you out on a BOM called Pennsylvania Dutch. It's done with Moda's Wiscasset fabric and I'm almost done putting the borders on it.
I love all your little feathers and squiggles. |
Another beauty! You always manage to take already beautiful quilts and make them even more beautiful!

Beautiful quilt and quilting.

Once again I am awed at your incredible talents! The quilt itself is beautiful, but the quilting is the icing that finishes it.

I am very impressed by your respect for each quilt that you quilt! The color choices in this quilt are so soft and inviting! Makes me want to curl up within it's warm folds :o)
