Anita's Christmas Quilt BOM
3 Attachment(s)
This quilt top was made by my friend Alice, and I quilted it on my longarm. The pattern is Anita's Christmas Quilt, and it's an applique BOM at JanniLou quilt shop in Philomath, Oregon. Alice is a real expert at needle turn applique, so I felt honored that she let me quilt this for her. She supplied a cotton batt, and I used poly threads in white, lime green, and red.

That is an heirloom quilt for sure! You both did a wonderful job.

Awesome quilting on an equally awesome quilt. I would say your quilting skills are definitely equal to your friends applique skills. I love the scalloped bias trim she put on each block and repeated in the border. I just recently took a class on celtic bar bias applique and I am loving the different effects you can get with it. I can't even see where the strips begin/end on this.
|
Wow that is beautiful. I Love it.
