Another quilt I made this year.
 

This one is a scrappy for the book "Quick and Easy Scrap Quilts" from Leisure Arts. For the newbies out there it is a square in a square pattern.
First picture is the quilt, second picture is close up and backing.

Loverly, loverly. the choice of black sashing is the perfect way to set it off and keep it from looking "too" scrappy. It makes it look more organized and on purpose. I love it!

That's how you take a nice easy pattern and turn it into a real pretty quilt. Good job.
