I posted this quilt top a couple weeks ago as I was about to take it to Candlequilter to have it quilted. Just wanted to show the fantastic job she did quilting it! I have yet to add the binding. I have flannel ordered from Fabric Shack to bind it with...a deep, dark crimson red!
The reindeer is one of the two that I made for my grandchildren. The other one was finished and went home with my GS last night but the GD's needs to be re-quilted because it came out with wrinkles. I used spray adhesive on the GS's and it quilted very nice so I am going to take the backing off and re-do this one. First time I had used the spray adhesive but it won't be the last!!! I used the Aleene's brand and it worked well on this little project. This one is for the hubby...all flannel Close-up of Candlequilter's quilting work the back but the quilting doesn't show up as the thread blended in so well One of the two that I made for Grands. Going to redo the quilting on it though! |
