I posted this quilt top a couple weeks ago as I was about to take it to Candlequilter to have it quilted. Just wanted to show the fantastic job she did quilting it! I have yet to add the binding. I have flannel ordered from Fabric Shack to bind it with...a deep, dark crimson red!

The reindeer is one of the two that I made for my grandchildren. The other one was finished and went home with my GS last night but the GD's needs to be re-quilted because it came out with wrinkles. I used spray adhesive on the GS's and it quilted very nice so I am going to take the backing off and re-do this one. First time I had used the spray adhesive but it won't be the last!!! I used the Aleene's brand and it worked well on this little project.

This one is for the hubby...all flannel

the back but the quilting doesn't show up as the thread blended in so well

One of the two that I made for Grands. Going to redo the quilting on it though!

That first quilt is awesome. What a great quilt. I love the reindeer. What a great idea. Thanks for sharing them both.

I got the idea of the reindeer from another quilter on the board here. She had done it for her son and his family. I thought they were so cute I had to do one for my grands.

really like the red added in the first quilt, makes it pop. and your raindeer is really quilt cute a guarentee to bring a smile to any young eyes receiving it.
