Another scrappy quilt from leftover scraps
2 Attachment(s)
This is another scrappy, still trying to use up scraps from previous quilts. I will probably have several more. I'm going to start using them up before they get this far out of hand.
The squares were all triangles, sewn together, they were various sizes and some had to be trimmed down. The back is pieced backing pieces, didn't take a pic of it. |
looks great... Nice way to use up those scraps..

looks great!

I really like the strong geometric look of this quilt.
|
Very nice. Scraps just seem to multiple, don't they?
|
Thanks for the nice words.
Yes, Patimint, scraps do seem to multiply. They were really starting to pile up, seems I made some not long ago into quilts. Quess I didn't stick with it long enough to use many. |
Good way to use up those scraps. Really came out nice.
|
A real beauty!

Great scrappy quilt. It is amazing what can be created from what we once considered leftovers (smile). Thank you for sharing.

Your scrappy quilt looks great, really like the way it came out. Nice way to use up some of the scraps we gather up, isn't it. Thanks for sharing it.

That's pretty. Love all the different colors and the pattern you used.

Great idea! I like the little blocks of small vertical pieces separating the bigger ones.

|
Thanks to all for the nice words.

Looks good, and yes, please take pics of your pieced backs! I made a pieced back for my quilt and I really like it - it actually took me longer to piece the back than to piece the fron. I have deceided that from now on I will piece my backs (especially when I'm making scrappy quilts or use up material in my stash.
|
I like your quilt. Such a good idea. Wish I could make a scrappy. I have plenty of scraps,I just have a hard time putting them together.

Lovely! I always feel so "smart" when I use up my scraps. Just proves that everything doesn't have to be "matchy match" to be beautiful!

Great use of your scraps. Scrap quilts are great charity quilts.

Looking good! The dark strips in the quilt do 'relax' the scrappiness very nicely. Love it!
