Love the pattern, love the colors, love the quilting! The three years in the basket ripened it so well!

So glad to hear you are feeling better. It helps when we are able to do things that we love, and you are so good at it. Lovely quilt and quilting. BrendaK.

A beautiful quilt. Glad you got it finished.
Pleased your medication is working for you and hope that there will be lots more coming out of the basket for us to see soon.

I also have diabetes and fibromyalgia. I have just started back sewing and quilting. I take lots of meds, but for fibro, I take Lyrica (for my burning feet), metformin for diabetes and Seroquel to help me sleep. My ins. pays very well, and I know how blessed I am for that! I took neurotin when I was without ins., and it really helped, too. So glad to be finishing UFO's.

This is what I take too and it does wonders for me, just like it does for you. I'm glad you're feeling well enough to quilt again. I like this pattern and the lesser quilting. I'm not crazy about the over quilting style. Thanks for sharing the quilt and the meds with us.

Great that you can quilt again. Too bad that beautiful spent three years in the basket.

Looking good! Glad that you're feeling better.

Glad you found something to bring you relief from the fibro pain :) My brother suffers from that and nothing seems to help him. So nice that you can get back to hobbies and "life"

Nanamoms 04-04-2012 12:16 AM

I also take gabapenten...a dosage of 6 a day right now. It's helping with the Fibro pain. Yes, I tried those "designer meds" and the side effects were awful.

You are doing so much better than me, tho, as I've got fabric stashed everywhere and can't figure out what I want to do first. I also sew clothing and do machine embroidery...so many decisions!! Sometimes, I just get overwhelmed and do nothing! LOL

Love your quilt...reminds me of the "good ole days"!! It will be wonderful to cuddle with!

Sandee 04-04-2012 06:56 AM

I take Gabapentin. also. It has helped me so much!! I actually ake a combo- gabapentin, Tramadol & Meloxicam- together they keep me on my feet & I can sew!!

Your quilting is just beautiful!!!

Grandma Peg 04-04-2012 07:00 AM

Very pretty quilt and quilting.

Jammin' Jane 04-17-2012 12:52 PM

It looks wonderful! Glad you're feeling better!! :)

Your quilt and quilting is great!

I have a friend who has fibro too and it can be so very debilitating. Nothing seems to work for her, from meds to exercise. Also curious what meds are helping you.

Keep on quilting, I know it brings you joy.
