This might be a stupid question, but you don't cut them individually do you? Can yo sew strips together and then cut into squares?

dyer804 08-01-2010 04:22 PM

Beautiful Work!

Lakeview Quilting 08-01-2010 05:17 PM

Nice quilt. How many 2" squares are in that quilt?

New knee 08-01-2010 06:18 PM

I need to make several of these to down-size my stash. Did you machine or hand quilt it?

Ritzquilts 08-01-2010 06:35 PM

Machine quilted it

Thanks for all the very nice comments on my quilt...The family that received it as a gift are in AW of getting it as a gift....The can't believe the small pieces either but I told them it wasn't that small just 2 in. squares..lol

Ritzquilts 08-02-2010 06:39 AM

Sorry, but it was on the internet for free and it was taken off so I believe it will be in a book or pattern. Am keeping my eyes open for it to tell everyone where to get the pattern from

eda 08-02-2010 11:08 AM

Very nice...

Alondra 08-02-2010 11:37 AM

Thank you. Wish you could share it... actually, perhaps you could, since it was in the public domain when you got it. I'm not sure how the legal thing goes.

Great Quilt, I love Scrap quilts.

maureenann 08-02-2010 12:00 PM

Lovely and bright!

Alondra 08-02-2010 12:39 PM

Email the author at [email protected]. Unless she has had it published in a book, she's selling it for $12 plus $3 s/h. She said on her site that she had given two lectures in 2007 and there was so much interest that she decided to publish it. Our bad luck.

Sooooo Gorgeous! I love all the colors & the background fabric is so soothing, it creates such a wonderful balance!
