The zipper that you have added really makes this bag wonderful. Do you have any hints to give us for putting in the zipper???

Colleen

Yes, scream 1st, then put your thinking cap on! :p

The zipper was a bugger at 1st. You'll have to do a google search, here is pretty much how I did it. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index...pic=8541.0;all

Very clever idea............some people are so smart!

ItsJustMe 10-03-2012 06:12 AM

Really cool! Going to find that pattern. Love the idea of not having to move all of my "important" items each time I change purses.

Mariposa 10-03-2012 06:15 AM

Nicely done, and neat idea!!

romanojg 10-03-2012 06:16 AM

Very nice and a very smart thing to do. It's the same concept that is with the Miche purses. My sister just started selling them so of course I'm having a party. You buy the purse foundation and then they have outside shells that you can get and have a whole new purse. I just ordered my daugther a zebra stripped one because she loves animal prints.

Yes, pretty much except the Miche' is too heavy for me.

solstice3 10-03-2012 08:50 AM

Love it. I bought a leather purse from mythirtyonegifts.com It has the changable "skirts" too. You have so much more versatility that way. Must figure out how to make my own. ;-)

What 'cha think?

EDITED with pattern info Simplicity # 2676

Is the bottom cover reversible? That would be two quick changes.

Amythyst02 10-04-2012 03:35 AM

Love that, may have to try that after I get all my other projects done.

That's a great purse. I love all your different changes for it. Nice job.

katesnanna 10-04-2012 05:38 AM

What a fantastic idea. By the reactions here this could become the "new" Bowtucks. The mind boggles at how creative we can all get. BTW I love your different covers and thank you for sharing this fun project.

nstitches4u 10-04-2012 06:46 AM
