Any thoughts at all? Does it bring anything to mind?

Cyn 10-11-2011 07:26 AM

Matrix

CloverPatch 10-11-2011 07:27 AM

my daughter says it is "disgusting"
I on the other hand am having flash backs of Keanu Reeves in a black trench coat.

barny 10-11-2011 07:28 AM

It brings trees to my mind.

QuiltE 10-11-2011 07:29 AM

It's a Computer Geek fabric ...... IMHO!

debbieumphress 10-11-2011 07:30 AM

Hey, that's what my computer does once in a while. Hope you tell us what it is.

Charleen DiSante 10-11-2011 07:32 AM

Yeah, it reminds me of a computer glitch, but matrix makes sense too. (Well, maybe matrix doesn't make sense :)

Quilter7x 10-11-2011 07:32 AM

It looks like graffiti to me.

Ms Grace 10-11-2011 07:36 AM

makes me dizzy!

lodad 10-11-2011 07:41 AM

A Bad drean. Something for a computer geek.

quilting Carol 10-11-2011 07:42 AM

Yes, I know the place you mean: the Quilt Farm.

I love the view out of their back window!

Ok, here is a hint on that fabric:

QuiltE 10-11-2011 07:50 AM

More Computer Geek Stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now we're inside that thing!

ruck9085 10-11-2011 07:52 AM

My mind trying to figure out the computer the first time I sat down at one!

Well I don't care for it but I sure you will find something to use it in. I like what barny said--reminds her of trees--I can see that.

mom-6 10-11-2011 07:56 AM

I like the black/white one but the green/yellow makes my eyes do weird things! It looks like it might work for curtains in a computer room...maybe...

mzzzquilts 10-11-2011 08:15 AM

My first thought was Green Bay Packers, based on the colors of the 1st one.

Ann912 10-11-2011 08:15 AM

The second picture looks like a circuit board.

quilt1950 10-11-2011 08:19 AM

"Math" came to my mind

VaNella 10-11-2011 08:27 AM

You could use it to be a computer crash on halloween.

How 'bout this one?

What would you do with this?

wuv2quilt 10-11-2011 08:35 AM

OOOOO, me too....Keanu...yummy :)

quilt1950 10-11-2011 08:45 AM

I would leave it at the store! I worked on a computer at my job, before I retired. I don't have any desire to work it into a quilt, or anything else!

Are you going to show us some really clever use of these fabrics?

butterjoy 10-11-2011 08:48 AM

I think it is going to be very interesting on what you come up with all three fabrics combined together. They do "connect" in one way or another. Yes, I like it...

athomenow 10-11-2011 08:53 AM

A bad trip? If you were a teen in the 70"s?? LOL

Now I can't concentrate on the fabric... I am too busy picturing Keanu in a trench coat! ;)

bearisgray 10-11-2011 09:18 AM

The first one made me think of the graffiti I've seen on railroad cars.

QuiltnCowgirl 10-11-2011 09:19 AM

The Matrix - in technicolor LOL!

butterjoy 10-11-2011 09:20 AM

You may need one more fabric that is related to these three. It is cool. I agree with the others, Matrix. Great show. :) Anyhow a continuous log cabin or some pattern that actually "talks" the language to you. I look forward to what you come up with. :)

JOY

yonnikka 10-11-2011 09:25 AM

Schizophrenia and Bi Polar disorder combined?

pdcakm 10-11-2011 09:27 AM

def computer related. i have a computer geek son and daughter-in-law that this would be perfect for.

It's brand new by Timeless Treasures. I'm trying to figure out whether to order it or not.

If it's too far "out there"... then I'd better stay away from it. At least, the one with the numbers. The circuit board print is easier to understand.

I know there are a lot of geeks out there... but I'm not sure how many geeks also sew or quilt! :?:

quiltlonger 10-11-2011 09:33 AM

Not sure I could sew a very big quilt with it< makes my EYES go crazy Good luck with computer with a SURGE!

amandasgramma 10-11-2011 09:35 AM

John Deere in matrix???

chelgvns 10-11-2011 09:37 AM

Someome who's in a computer rewlated field would love a quilt made with this...director of IT or school computer teacher or something! Personally not my cup of tea but to each their own

Dena789 10-11-2011 09:42 AM

How about a quilt made up of blocks with 1's and 0's.... Not sure if you could actually make it mean something though. It's not quite like working with Morse Code.

Jan in VA 10-11-2011 10:03 AM

What do they make me think of??

#1. print, yuck
#2. print, now we're talking
#3. print, not so much

As a collection, rather theme specific for a limited audience. As individual prints, ehhh.
The second one is generic enough to work in any collection of black prints.

Charleen DiSante 10-11-2011 10:12 AM

Now I know what it makes me think of since you mention Mores code: binary code 1's and 0's

countrycousin 10-11-2011 10:20 AM

Well try a crazy on purpose quilt using alternate colors in the blocks. I saw something similiar over the week end and that quilt looked good.
