Apple Core throw
 

I had a lot of fun working on this pattern, used my accuquilt to cut the cores which saved lots of time. Had a time with the binding, far from perfect but the dang thing is on there!!

very pretty.... don't tell... no one will know about the binding. It looks great!

Your apple core is beautiful! I have the die to cut this one - just haven't done it yet!

pretty apple core quilt. My LQS rents out their accuquilt and this is what i have been thinking of doing. Good to see how nice it will turn out.

Now you've given me an idea. Some enterprising marketing person should make pre-cuts of the apple core. Then, more of us would make that pattern. Your quilt is lovely; binding looks great.

Thank you all for the wonderful compliments, omacookie the core is 5 1/8 x 7 1/16. I have the gobaby which serve's me perfect. I don't buy the dies just for straight cut templates just hard to cut/stitch dies.

Don't laugh but when I see the bottom two rows of dark--I see a faceless curvy girl shape wearing a tube top and mini-skirt. A lovely quilt and I have one in batiks---somewhere---that must be sewn.

Nice quilt and binding. I have yet to do that binding but is on the 2 do list..

It is not a difficult sew..the curve is so gentle there is no wrestling...a great way to get introduced to curve piecing...which is really not a taboo........challenges are a great way to grow....don't shrink from it.....
