I'm so sick of this thing I don't even want to quilt it. I have no idea how to even begin quilting it. I already have a redwork quilt on the frame for hand quilting. I'm not sure I'm at all up to doing hand or machine quilting on this thing. I guess it'll have to go back into storage for another 5 years! Ha! Well done for a first time at needle turning! :-D |
I would let it "rest" for awhile while you think about how to quilt it. Its beautiful and should be finished...even if you let someone else do the quilting!

Even if you don't want to quilt it, you can hang it as is and it will still be beautiful. Would be a shame to put it away for an extended time.

That is so pretty!

Fabulous colors! Nothin wrong with UFOs. Years ago I was bubbling over with ideas and started several projects that became UFOs, while other things got finished. Now I'm getting back into quilting more often (never did stop-always had a top to quilt) and I'm grateful to have those UFOs for trialing new machines and techniques and practicing before I work on my more favored projects. Quilt tops are a type of wealth IMO. Yous is so cheerful!

Awesome, what a great job you did on the applique.

It's beautiful. You should be very proud of yourself. I am not having much success at applique. I'm envious
