Where did you find this great pattern? I would love to make one of these for my DSIL. I probably will have to go to EQ7 and design it.... I love your quilt.

Your quilt must be one of a kind in design because I have never seen one like it. Did you sew the "argyle" on top of the squares when the top was pieced or is the "argyle" pieced in each square? It is lovely and the colors are wonderful. Beautiful work. Brown and light blue sounds fabulous. Please post a photo of that one when it is complete.

I am a big fan of making the binding stand out and I try to always use something fun for the backing. Very few of my quilts have white on the back. My dh takes the quilt in to work on Tuesday. We shall see if his coworker likes it.

It was from connectingthreads.com and it was pretty easy. Matching seams was the hardest part. U should try it. I switched up the colors a bit from their pattern. The pattern is just called argyle.

really like your quilt, so different from the basic patterns of square and points. or just has a new twist. :) I'm having a difficult time telling what your dark color is? Is it brown? YOu really did a great job.
