I love it, but why can't he take it with him. I think it would be wonderful to sleep under something his mom made.

Very nice! I better not show it to my second son who is army/national guard. I just made him a simple quilt with army fabric and a pillow panel sewn on in the center. I am sure your son will love it. It is so beautiful!

I love this quilt! My son is also in the Army...11 yrs now....Is that a panel in the middle? May i ask where you got it? My husband and i make quilts for the Army hospital ...
Great Quilt! I have to start on my son's Army quilt soon, he will be retiring from the Army soon and I need to get something done for that.
I have a Grandson that is turning 17 next month and he can't wait to go and sign up for the Army. He has been in the Naval ROTC program for the last 3 years and loves it. He won't join the Navy because he doesn't want to have to go out on a ship. So, he is signing up for the Army and then this summer, between his junior and senior year in high school, he will get his basic training done. Then when he graduates, he will head off somewhere....
Thank you to your son for his scarifies he is making for us. Him and your family are in my thoughts a prayers. God bless him. |
Very, very nice!
A quilt he'll be most proud of. I forget sometimes how a quilt from home for those in the military helps bring a piece of home to them. I wish him safe journey.
Be the best you can be, in the Army.
