This is the quilt I made for my youngest son in the Army. I am almost done quilting it. No, he can't take it with him. lol I am working on making a smaller version. I am making a pattern and kits for a wall hanging. Will post when I get that done.

Awesome quilt. Our youngest is Army also. He spent last year in Iraq and came home safe and sound. Tell your son that we thank him very much for his service.

Hooah! That is the most wonderful quilt I've seen!
Our son is scheduled to be deployed in June for his 3rd time (boo!) and his newest daughter will only be 6 weeks old then (she's still baking now). I'd love to have any of the directions - where did you find those wonderful fabrics? Yeah Mom... It's tough but ya gotta love and support them! Heads up high and smile don't we?
