Arrowhead Block

My guild's February Block of the Month is called Anita's Arrowhead.
This block was so much fun to construct that I decided to use some fabric that I had been saving for just the right project. I hurried to finish it so that I can show the guild a completed quilt in our February meeting. It only took 15 days! I used some of Ricky Tims hand-dyed fabric for the border. It has been my "pet" for years. I didn't think I'd ever get the courage to cut into it. |

Anita Grossman Solomon (of Anita's Arrowhead) has some wonderful techniques for making a number of blocks. I love her book "Rotary Cutting Revolution" which showcases some of these blocks. At one time she was a member of this board but I don't know if she still is or not. Check out her techniques if you want to have some fun making and watching some magical block formations appear.

What a wonderful quilt...love your fabric selection and the quilting is marvelous. I hope you are going to keep this one since you were brave enough to use some of your favorite fabrics...if not, you can mail it to me. LOL

I'm in love with your quilt! I also have a pretty green fabric to make a quilt from but haven't found another piece to go with it yet....but looking. I "googled" the pattern name and found it and printed it out. ..this is perfect for me!!
