I have been working so hard at getting these things done...some of them have waited for years. Here are some that I finished before, and I have 3 more large quilts to bind! All will be going up for sale in my garage sale next week.

I can't imagine why you would sell these in a garage sale as they are wonderful. Maybe garage sales are different where you live but around here (Ontario) garage sales are usually things you want to get rid of that really don't have much value. Quilts don't belong there!

Actually, I don't. But, in the past, I've had a lot of buyers. People do tell me that I sell them for far less than they would expect to pay, but I'm OK with that. I have so many, that I really just want them to find good homes.

Beautiful quilts-the first is my favorite.

Primarily, I do it because it's easier for me. Renting space at craft shows around here is EXPENSIVE, and I also have a pretty demanding full-time job that makes it hard to set aside the time. I live in a pretty small town, and I kind of get a kick out of meeting the people who are interested in my work. I especially love it when they feel like they've really gotten a bargain!

What????? Selling them at a yard sale? No way! Wish I were in Michigan ... I'd be at your sale! They are beautiful! I especially like the third one!

Have you thought about listing them here? You might get a better price for them, or heck, I love getting a good deal. And I know I would be inline to buy one and pay for the shipping and insurance for it.

I, like the others, wish I were a lot close to you. I'd be there when the doors opened. I know what you mean though in saying that you get to know the people and they are in a good home. It makes you feel good that others love what you do!!!!

Where in Michigan, I can go yard sales any time...Just south near Toledo.

That third one is beautiful!!! They all are!!! I can't think of how little you will get for them at a garage sale!! I atleast hope the person who buys them will love them as if they made it themselves! i know I would!!!!

Wow! I so wish I could get more of my tops done!!! Hand Quilting takes so long and I haven't figured out how to machine quilt...so I guess it will be awhile... :-(

Selling at a garage sale? If you want them to have a good home, I suggest you try selling here. They are really all beautiful (my favorite is the first however) and I'm sure they would go fast.
