Attic Window with Eagles

Ok, so I purchased this material here on the board..... made this quilt for my hubbys' 60th birthday. Wouldn't you know, he likes the back best! The back is just the panel.... without the window effect. Could have saved some time, but I learned quite a bit. No pattern used..... just looked at others and went to town. I'm pleased. Also my first shot at outline quilting. Can't tell from the pics, but I outlined the eagles! Also SID.

Love it, it is so nice, I love the orange window frames with it.

Love this. Did you just add material over the panel?

lillybeck........... yes, I didn't "remove" any of the panel for the cross pieces of the window frame. You can see how it slightly distorted the eagles wings....... specially the upper left corner!

Such a pretty quilt. Wonderful work.

Just reread your question.... I did cut up the panel........... just didn't remove the portion from the panel that the cross pieces would have covered.
