Perfect Fabric and design choices!

Temple Grandin sure has helped to bring autism awareness and understanding of it more to the fore front!

She's an incredible person. I've met her and have heard her speak re her other profession, in animal care and handling. When I saw the movie, I couldn't believe how well the actress (Clare Dane, right?) had emulated Temple ... it was so bang on from what I have come to know her as. Impressive!

Good Luck with your efforts!

MommaDorian 05-23-2011 07:28 AM

Stunning!! I have some of the puzzle piece fabric, I made my ds a quilt out of it. I'm going to see how much I have left!!

Gwyn 05-23-2011 07:32 AM

My son is also autistic but is doing really well right now. I love this purse. It looks like a Bow Tuck...Right?

gramqlts 05-23-2011 07:51 AM

Love the material. I just bought some of puzzle material. Where did you get the matching material? Might have to get some and try the purse. My grandson, Oliver, age 2 (soon to be 3) has autism. We wear pins, t-shirts, and write congressmen for awareness. I hope your purses get a lot of attention.

SandraG 05-23-2011 04:20 PM

Sorry to bug you but where did you get the embroidery on front? Thanks,

Really like the tote. Where did you get the puzzle fabric? My daughter is studying to be a Special Ed teacher (1 more year to go) and I would like to make her something with that design. Autism is one of her "specialties."

sdparent 05-24-2011 04:34 AM

I bought a whole bolt of the puzzle fabric. So far I've done just blankets. Guess I ought to make a bag, too.
