Thread painted and micro quilted 10 x 16. Between making and quilts and quilting I stay busy. I have a lot of fun with these little hangings. I give some to my sister to sell in her B&B. They don't take very long. This one was two days to finish and bind. Housework????? Phewy! Enjoy!

So do you basically start with a plain piece of fabric (or a few pieces sewn together crazy quilt style) and then sketch/sew the general outline of the images before you go to town with the thread painting?
