Autumn Table Topper using a 22.5 degree ruler

2 Attachment(s)
Finished binding this 22" table topper this morning. It is 16 wedges cut with my new 22.5 degree Nifty Notions ruler & the pattern is from "Quilt as Desired" by Charlene Frable. I like working with strips so this is a good one for me... The pattern uses 5 - 2.5" stripes but the strips can be modified however you like. I've already put together 3 more varying the strip sizes & will post when I get them done. Craft season is approaching!

Great fabrics!! I made one with a smaller ruler -- actually made two because of the way it gets cut with one the reverse of the other. Good job!!

beatys9 09-18-2012 08:44 PM

Yep - the reverse one is in the to be sewn queue...

Really pretty in the fall colors. I love doing the circle quilts, I have one on my Kitchen Table that was done with the 10 degree ruler and I had such fun with it. Keep up the good work and enjoy every minute of it.

ItsJustMe 09-20-2012 06:52 AM

That is absolutely stunning! Love the design and fall colors!

WMUTeach 09-20-2012 07:14 AM

Lovely. I have a round table and all of the glorious table runners I see on the board don't fit well. I also love the fabric you used on the outer most ring. I have it also and use it in many of my fall, harvest, Thanksgiving quilts. There is now hope for me to make an almost round table topper. Thanks for posting your topper.

Wanabee Quiltin 09-20-2012 07:26 AM

Very pretty and it sure celebrates the season.

sniktasemaj 09-20-2012 11:43 AM

I have never seen this pattern before. is it hard to do?

beatys9 09-20-2012 04:18 PM

Nope - it is easy once you have the ruler. I had to go online to buy it - about $15 - but I plan to get lots of use from it! I could not find one in the Seattle area. You actually end up with pieces for two toppers with the colors in the reverse order.
