Very pretty.

Love your baby quilt. Found the book and will order tomorrow.

It doesn't actually have the pattern for the bag, I just kinda threw it together. There is a different bag in this book though. Happy sewing!

Very nice.

I also made a matching gift bag but I am having trouble getting that picture loaded. Do you think I should sign it?? I label and sign mine, not just so everyone will know I made it, but I feel like I need to advertise my work, just like Calvin Kline, Bob Mackey, Ralph Lauren or whoever. They always label their work and it is their trademark, so we should do the same with our work. |
Great pattern! Love your fabric.
|
P.S. How easy was it?
|
Definitely sign it!
Name of quilt, date, your name and any "story" behind it, and your location! Always sign your quilts! :-D |
Of course you should at least sign it, but include at least City, State, date made. If you make the label into a pocket, you could also include "care & feeding" instructions so that she knows how to wash and dry the quilt. I did a baby quilt for one of our grandaughters and it had applique on it too. Our son carefully folded it and put it in the closet so it wouldn't get dirty - as they couldn't afford to have it dry cleaned. It had never occurred to me that they wouldn't know it could be washed in the washer and hung to dry.

I did have to do a little ripping out on this one until I realized to read the directions a little more carefully.
It uses 2 different sizes of turnovers, I was trying to use the small one at the time I should've been using the large one. So, beware of that part. |
Nice gift.

Very cute. I love the train fabric.

Adorable!

Nice work--always sign!!

Very nice. Sign it.

Always sign your quilt! At least put your name, possibly the city and/or state and year.
|
Yes, I think you should sign it. I put a label on all my quilts. Now that I have a working embroidery machine I am making them on it. I try to include who it is for, when I made it and "quilted" by me. You could spy it is for "baby boy" and his last name. Just a suggestion. BTW, the quilt is really nice and I am sure everyone will love it.

Super cute set! I am not a big blue fan, but this color way is very appealing! Thanks for sharing!
|
Of course you should sign/label this perfect gift!
I like the added touch of a bag! |
I did sign it and date it.
I also made another one almost identical with the scraps, labeled it also. I posted it on another post. |
