I agree. Scallops would make it wavy like the sea and more girly. If you don't have enough pink for binding put all the diff. pinks together to make enough

How about a pink "flange" before you put your binding on?

Scallops or soft waves would go nice on this quilt and bind it in pink to represent sandy beaches. I think prairie points would be impressive on a boys quilt. It's wonderful and will grow with her.

Thanks for sharing. This is such a beautiful quilt. You can leave it as is, or add the scallops as you and others have suggested. It all depends how much work you still want to put into the project.

wavy scallops for the turtles.
then wavy quilting there too.
It will all mimick water in my mind.
