Baby Quilt is Done
 

This is the quilt I made for our great niece, due in January. The shower was last Saturday. I love this pattern and had just purchased it when it was announced that she is a girl. I had been waiting for the gender reveal but then needed to get it done before my cataract surgery. I think this is really cute for a boy or a girl and I would not have chosen a different pattern had I known her gender. At the shower it seemed that the mom is not into traditional pink at all. Pieced and quilted on my Pfaff 4.2 domestic machine. The backing is flannel.
The pattern is from Sew Fresh Quilts-Giraffes in a Row by Lorna McMahon.
