I just finished the quilt I'm making for my first grandchild who is due in October. My daughter helped me pick out the fabrics, and I'm also making a window valence, and a few other accessories. I was trying to decide whether to have a long arm quilter do the quilting (minkee backing), but after conferring with a few of you, I decided that doing it myself might work out better. I'm very pleased with it. For those of you who are prayer warriors, please pray for Leslie and her baby, as she was diagnosed with a very large blot clot about a month ago. I thank the Lord that she is doing much better now, and the baby is fine.

I just love minkee. Too bad NC doesn't really get cold enough to justify putting it on everything.
