My husband and I went on a mini vacation (Thursday thru today). We went to Portland, Oregon to see a concert and do a bit of shopping. We went and seen The Moody Blues at the Keller Auditorium. What a nice place.
Needless to say we had a lot of fun. We stopped at Craft Warehouse in Salem and Fabric Depot in Portland. Also we went to the OSMI museum in Portland, toured a very cramped but interesting submarine, several neat exhibits lots of little munchkins were wandering about (field trip day I think). A Ladybug for Miss Natalie (our niece) [ATTACH=CONFIG]206659[/ATTACH] Eagle panel and fabric to finish the top [ATTACH=CONFIG]206660[/ATTACH] for a wildlife quilt [ATTACH=CONFIG]206661[/ATTACH] my husband loves Lions.......so you know what that means! [ATTACH=CONFIG]206662[/ATTACH] stuff that "fell" into my cart [ATTACH=CONFIG]206663[/ATTACH] more space fabric to add to the stash I am accumulating for a quilt [ATTACH=CONFIG]206676[/ATTACH] more stuff that somehow managed to "follow me" home [ATTACH=CONFIG]206677[/ATTACH] aren't those coasters the coolest things? [ATTACH=CONFIG]206678[/ATTACH] funky submarine socks and a peace sign [ATTACH=CONFIG]206679[/ATTACH] magnetic rocks and some very shiny rocks [ATTACH=CONFIG]206680[/ATTACH] my two new sewing pals. OMG!!!! We went to see The Moody Blues in Vagus May 13th! Awesome concert. Did a quilt shop tour too! Will have to take some pictures of my goodies soon and post.

Love that space fabric. What I wouldn't give to get to Fabric Depot one day. They are one of my favorite on line ordering spots.

Have you used "the fabulous fabric glide" yet? I just googled it, and it looks pretty interesting. I'm curious how well it works.

I love that Eagle panel -the white snow stands out so much, I almost think I'd have to add a some sort of white with gold border. I have the magnetic rocks -it's surprising how they come in handy.

Gee, Moody Blues. Hadn't thought about them in a long time. Had no idea they still performed. Ah, the "good ol' days". Must have been a blast, going to see and hear them.

My favorite band of all time!! They just played at Cal Poly a couple of weeks ago.

We did have a blast, we spent most of our first day home yesterday just lounging. Had to rest up from the vacation......lol Today is chore day, if the lawn is dry enough the lawn mover is making its first appearance this season. And I need to clean the fridge out and go grocery shopping. |

Love your new buddies, if you can't find them you will know where to look.
The Moody Blue are one of my all time favorites. They were here recently and I talked to a friend that got to see them and said they are just as good as ever. The wildlife fabric is beautiful, recognize some that I have also. Love anything with animals. The eagle panel is beautiful. So happy to know you had such a wonderful time. Thanks for thinking of us and sharing. |
