Bag/purse for shop hops and quilt shows!

My friend (in the picture) gave me this fabric for my birthday after we went on a shop hop. So, I made us bags for our next adventure! The pattern is for Embroidery Garden, it is an ITH pattern. Thanks for looking.

Can't fit much fabric purchases in there but it will probably be able to hold ALL your cash. :) Very cute. My purse that I use all the time is called a Travelon. They are handy because you never need to take them off except when trying clothes on.

way too cute!

Very cute and the perfect size, to stay out of your way.

Great bag! I like the size and the strap with the swivel hardware. Cute fabric too!

What a great bag. Fits nicely over the body.
Those are so cute. I hadn't seen any like them. I love that fabric for them. :)

Great fabric. I love Embroidery Garden designs. Reen has the best step by step directions
saw that one and wondered how it turned out. looks great to me.
Very nice.
Those are very cute bags and I love the fabric.
I like that style of purse. Neat idea.
Cute bags. I like bags that size when going out shopping or actually any place where I won't need a large purse. Just need room for my phone, money/cards, tissues and my keys.
That is so cute! I bought some of that fabric "just because I liked it" and then wondered what I would do with it.
I really like your idea! |
Great job, very cute!
It's great.
Love the purses and what a great use of that fabric! It advertises what you do, so to speak. Nice that you made a second one for your friend.

love your little tote...any chance you can share and tell us where you found the fabric or the name of it??? I would love to make a bag also....
Nice size bag and adorable fabric! Thanks for sharing!
Very cute bags. I saw that fabric at my local quilt shop & I really liked it but didn't know what to make with it so I didn't buy any. Hope they still have some when I go back. I would like to make me a little cross shoulder purse like that. They are very handy to carry bare essentials when you shop. I can see it being very handy at a flea market or fabric store. Thank you for the idea

Love the fabric you used. Cute bags.
I like your bags and fabric! Very nice!
Very handy, looks great for walks to carry cell phone and keys
Glenda, I looked at the a Embroidery Garden web site and it states for this pattern that it is to be made with an embroidery machine with a hoop. Is that what you used? I was wondering if it can be made from the pattern with a regular straight stitch sewing machine??
I absolutely love it!! Great job!!
