Bargello Finished! With Flange Binding Even!
 

I'm so very pleased with the job I did - but incredibly please with how my long arm quilter did her job. I plan to use the back side during the spring and summer months.

Is the quilt coming straight down? It looks beautiful but it is causing me. Major optical illusion,

Thank you all for the wonderful compliments. The quilt is Surf Song. Here are pictures of the back, up close quilting and the flange binding (sorry about the binding picture - it's blurred). The fabrics are a mixture of 100% cotton and batiks. The backing fabric is hand dyed batick from Sew Batik.

I had to go look up "flange" binding, but now I get it! Lovely effect! And a SUPER gorgeous quilt! Love the desert/sunset colors!

I love love love this quilt. You did a beautiful job. I have always admired the bargello quilts and would like to make one for my self. I have a pattern for a table runner that I plan to start with.
