We had a workshop at our guild. I had my strip sets sewn before that - probably 1 week of sewing every evening. Then had the top finished to show at the next guild show a month later. Took me forever to quilt it. My shoulders tense up too much when I quilt and have to take frequent breaks.

:-) I have mine sandwiched but hesitant to start quilting. Afraid I will mess it up on the machine. Trying to decide if I will just hand quilt.

I used a varigated thread with the colours of my quilt and just went diagonally through each square, following the swirls.

:-D :-D :-D Olga, Your bargello is the same pattern I did, but mine is still laid out waiting to be quilted. I need to get some Warn and Natural batting as I don't like the batting that is under the top now. It makes it look too poofy. I took it apart a couple of times nad retried to quilt is in diffrent ways and still too poofy. So I will get some warm and natiral and quilt it with that. Mine is big enough to be a bed runner, but it will fit perfectly on the wall between the bathroom and bedroom. That wall is bare now. Huggies, Fay

I purchased the pattern online, but can't remember where. It is Twisted Bargello by Chris Timmins.
