I've seen many on garages...go for it!

Hubby did two for me and I have them on the house....

one on the second story side of house and one on the ground level front.........I love them.

He also made a smaller wooden one for granddaughter's new, first home. it's for her front door.

Did you outline each piece with a thin black line?

Yes, you can get paint markers in the paint section of many stores...they come in several colors and those lines hide a lot of little mistakes...lol

I am going to do one for the east side of my house. I don't have a barn. Hubby is going to help.

Making a barn quilt is on my list. I am going to put it on my garage. Don't have a barn. I also saw a barn quilt painted on the garage doors. I think they can be put anywhere. Also seen them on a fence.
