Basketball quilt for my nephew.
 

I have been looking at your wonderful quilting pictures on the Quilting Board for quite some time, but thought today, I would show you one of mine. This is one I made for my nephew who is mad about basketball. Hope you like it. It was fun to make.

Very nice! I hope my grandson does NOT see this or he would want one like it to add to his sports collection...and I'm tired of making sports ball quilts!!

A very nice quilt! My 5-year-old grandson loves soccer and running with his dad. He just ran his first 5K two weekends ago, and we were so proud of him as he received a trophy for being the youngest runner in the 5K. I can imagine I will need to make quilts with these themes soon!

What a great quilt! Sometimes it is hard to make something that boys will like, but that quilt is obviously a big hit! I love all the matching pillowcases to go with it. Finishes off the whole look. Great job!

I love your quilt. It's modern and very tasteful, and yet it's perfect for a basketball-happy young man. The quilting is perfect, as are the pillowcases and throw pillow. You did a wonderful job.

I like your quilt! I need to make a quilt for my grandson and think I can adapt this to a football quilt. I have a border fabric that has football motifs (and another one that has baseball fabrics). Just noticed the basketball quilting -- perfect!! This quilt will be treasured for many years!!

I really like your pattern and use of fabric! This would be great using any theme -- music, cars, whatever. The throw pillow and matching pillowcases really make this an expensive looking bed ensemble.
