Love the quilt!

It's been on my list for quite some time. I don't have the pattern but drew it out in EQ. I am not sure if my long sections are the same length as the pattern but that's okay.

Wow that is so pretty! I love batiks and you have so many pretty colors in this quilt. Awesome!

Oooooh, I wish I had the gumption to work with EQ...don't seem to be able to stick with it long enough to make it work for me. I certainly don't have a problem sharing the dimension... the longs are cut 3.5 x 9.5 and the light squares are cut 6.5 and small squares are 3.5. 'Tis my pleasure to help when I can!

Thanks to you and to everyone for all the comments!

Bobbinwinder,
Thank you for posting the size. That is the first size that I did so I guess the brain still works correctly sometimes. I did a couple of other sizes as well that I like also. In one the blocks are wider and in one they are shorter. Decisions! Decisions!
I am not sure that I could quilt without EQ. I love paper piecing and convert a lot of patterns in books and magazines so that I can paper piece them.
I also find it an invaluable tool for auditioning fabric and for the best color placement. Besides all of the ones available, if I am still really unsure about what to place were, I scan in the actual fabric that I have and it has helped me more than once from not making the best choice.

Thanks again.

Beautiful! Your use of colour values is spot on, what a fantastic effect. :-D

Now tell me, how did you train those red cardinals to hold it up while you took the picture?

Beautiful quilt. I've never seen that pattern. This is one of the reasons I love quilting and this board, there is always something new to ooh and ahh about!

Sorry to be so slow to get back to you...I was searching for a quilt that I thought I remembered and I was shocked to see that my thread had been revived... anyway, those cardinals are concrete or cement...I don't think I know the difference, if there is one...hah. They're pretty handy and since they require no feed they don't poop...lol. I've had them for years...dh has even repainted them...had a dozen but I think some may have had some help relocating over the years...well, they didn't "fly" away, I'm sure. Thanks for the comments!
