If I was a baby I would love it! The colors are so vibrant. They say babies see contrasts, so the dark sashing and bright colors will give those precious baby eyes lots of things to focus on. Then when she grows older, she can love, love, love the quilt til she wears it out. I think it is beautiful!

Wow, you did an awesome job on this quilt.

It's beautiful! I think the bright colors will catch the baby's attention. This is one lucky baby.
I raise Monarch butterflies every summer and would love to know how you found this pattern. It's one of the nicest I have seen. What is e-central? I tried the website and couldn'd find it.

Beautiful, and just right for a baby, child, and one growing up hugging it to death. Babies love bright colors and this is a very special quilt. I love the baby's name. Enjoy your granddaughter. Not everyone is so lucky.

I think it is lovely. Research has shown that strong colors are better for baby development than pastels, so I agree with your daughter. I have told my DGKs that a quilt is a perpetual, portable hug.

I have never had a chance to meet my grandson. Once I was on the phone with my son when the DGS asked to get on. Son asked him if he knew who I was. I heard a little piping voice say, "She gave me my quilts!" I give about 20-30 quilts a year to local kid's charities and often hear back how important they are to the kids who get them,

How sweet that your grandson realizes the fact you have given him quilts, but how sad that you've never seen your grandson and I do hope you have the opportunity to see him. What a precious joy those grandchildren are!

:)
