Beautiful! I love the batiks for this! I've always wanted to make a braid but thought they seemed really hard to do. Are they? If I could do one that turned out at least half this fabulous, I'd give it a try...

It was not hard at all. I used the tute at Missouri Quilt Company as my starting point and then made the rest up. I used a jelly roll I bought from a board member and cut my pieces 7 inches with a 45 deg. angle. ruler. I wish I would have made the border bigger but when planning, I didn't want the boarder to over shadow the quilt. Go for it, it's fun watching it come together.
