Both are beautiful. Of course, my fav is the swinging checkerboard. The other is perfect for a man or boy.

Your quilt is so eye-catching. Someone on the board suggested QT had some free patterns and I went looking and printed some. But this(checkerboards) did not catch my eye on their site. When I saw yours, I thought "I probably printed that one". But after checking I saw that I hadn't, and wondered why. Then I went back to their site and they almost don't even look like the same! Yours appeals to me more, so I shall attempt to copy yours, if you don't mind.
It's amazing how fabric can change the look of a quilt and of course the change you made in the alternate block, which I like much better. Thanks for showing us this simple but pretty quilt. |
