Batik scrappy
 

I never discard small batik scraps and I felt this pattern called out to be used with that box of pesky pieces. Ilovemydogs made a quilt with this pattern in 2010 but someone commented on it a couple days ago, bringing it to the front of the line in pictures.

This block reminds me of a block called Card Trick, so I'll call this Three Card Trick.

Not sure how big her blocks are, but I made mine to finish at 8". This is for the charity I sew for.

I really like having the white background. We rarely think of backing a batik with the white and it really makes the batiks stand out. Beautiful top.

I've decided on making this pattern after seeing yours... I cut the scraps into different size squares after finishing a quilt. So now all I have to do is choose which squares I want to use... pattern is picked. Thanks for sharing
