dogsgod 11-13-2012 05:32 AM

I have over 300 tan and green half square triangles to maek that block out of, but wasn't sure what the cutting plan for the trunk part would be. Did you use a pattern?

Marcia_PA 11-13-2012 06:19 AM

That looks wonderful! I just got some fat quarters to sew the tree of life design, too. I plan to make 2 blocks to use for two wallhangings for Christmas gifts. I was debating how to make the trunk part. I didn't like the one pattern I found online for that part of the tree.

MamaBear61 11-13-2012 06:23 AM

That is going to be spectacular!

I'm using the pattern from quilter cache. The pattern can be found under 14" blocks and the template can be found there.

Cindy60545 11-15-2012 03:11 AM

Chuck, are you going to use this as a medallion, or more of the same block? Either way, I see a winner emerging. Can't wait to see more of it! Keep us posted on progress. I'm envisioning the quilting already!

akisan 11-15-2012 03:13 AM

Chuck, This one like all of your others is going to be beautiful. You have a great knack for putting colors together. See you at guild.

daisydebby 11-15-2012 04:54 AM

Very pretty:)!!! I love almost everything Edyta Sitar does....honestly, I thought it was her pattern as I have the book her bird and tree pattern is in...can't remember the name off hand. I'm working on it (along with about 10 other projects). Nice job. Can't wait to see more.
