I just finished the last of the bears for the Grands......I will be giving them for their b'days.....the first b'day is March 27 ...the last is December 27.....I can not believe I have them made this far ahead.......but it sure feels good....the hard part will be waiting for thier b'day......

They are pretty easy to make......just go for it...take your time ....and have fun with it......
I have to go hide them so I don't see them .....maybe that way I can wait until thier b'day...LOL

I've been wondering if making bears is difficult?
My daughter works where there are dealings at times with traumatized children. I've often thought of making some bears to donate to help the kids cope during this difficult time, however I haven't been sewing for a very long time so I've wondered if I am up to making some sort of simple version of stuffed animal.

I think that is a great idea...McCall's pattern #M5605....might be a good one for that....I made one of those too....it is a little smaller...but our youngest Grandson Loves it...plays with it and sleeps with it when he is here.....this is a picture of it.
